About Jonkoping University
Jonkoping University (JU), formerly Hogskolan i Jonkoping is a non-governmental Swedish university school located in Jonkoping in Smaland.
JU is one the three private Swedish institutions of higher education that have the right to offer doctoral degrees in some areas, such as social sciences. JU is governed by a contract with the Government of Sweden. It conforms to all national regulations regarding degree quality and meets the requirements of the Swedish Quality Assurance Act.
