What Is Tom Brady’s Next Move?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night in the NFC Wild Card Round by a final score of 31-14. There will be a lot of questions surrounding quarterback Tom Brady’s future after the loss. There was speculation that he was going to retire after last season but never did.

The Super Bowl odds for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going to massively drop if Tom Brady leaves elsewhere or decides to retire from the game of football for good. What are the possible next steps for Brady to play in 2023 at the age of 45?

Play For the Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans have a massive offseason ahead of them. Tennessee has a lot of fixing to do on the offensive side of the football. Head coach Mike Vrabel decided to fire offensive coordinator Todd Downing at the end of the season after a seven-game losing streak. They will get a new offensive coordinator there.

Tom Brady has familiarity with Vrabel in his time with the New England Patriots. However, it feels like there are more questions than answers with this Titans offense. Who are the wide receivers going to be, and what is the offensive line going to look like?

Both were horrendous last season. They traded away A.J. Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles last offseason at the wide receiver position. Treylon Burks is a nice piece, but Robert Woods is average at best, and they need more help. The only reliable pieces on offense are Derrick Henry and Chigoziem Okonkwo. They need Hassan Haskins moving forward. Also, will they move off quarterback Ryan Tannehill? That’s the biggest question of them all, and Malik Willis isn’t the future for them either.

Play For the Las Vegas Raiders

There are a ton of rumors floating around that the next place that Tom Brady will play for is the Las Vegas Raiders. Las Vegas is moving off quarterback Derek Carr, and he will be looking for a new home after being with the Raiders organization for his entire career. Josh McDaniels is the head coach of this football team, and he used to be the offensive coordinator for the New England Patriots for a very long time.

Brady will have weapons like running back Josh Jacobs, wide receivers Davante Adams and Hunter Renfrow, and also tight end Darren Waller. The only thing is that the offensive line needs to be fixed and also, the defense needs some more help other than defensive ends Chandler Jones and Maxx Crosby.

The only thing is that Tom Brady wants to go within a division that has Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City Chiefs starting quarterback), Justin Herbert (Los Angeles Chargers starting quarterback), and Russell Wilson (Denver Broncos)? Stay tuned for it here.

Play For the San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers are going to be in a very interesting spot next season at the quarterback position. Tom Brady was a San Francisco 49ers fan growing up. San Francisco has an elite defense led by Nick Bosa. Head coach Kyle Shanahan has a very interesting offensive system. Brock Purdy is the quarterback, and he may be the starter moving forward for good over Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance.

Elijah Mitchell, Christian McCaffrey, Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel, and George Kittle are the offensive catalysts on this roster. San Francisco can very well win it all this season, and they may not need Tom Brady moving forward. The 49ers could be the best destination for Tom Brady, but it isn’t probably going to turn out that way for him in the end.

The NFC West is a very interesting division, but it may not be as strong as people think it is. The Los Angeles Rams and the Arizona Cardinals appear to be on the downtrend, and the Seattle Seahawks are a young football team that can very well take a step backward next season. It will be interesting to see if Brady would choose this. If not, the last possible step for Tom Brady is to finally retire for good and see him in Canton, Ohio at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
