- There are three vertical dots on the right side of your screen display. Click on it.
- On the options, choose “Save Video”.
- Wait a while for the video to be saved on your device.
- The next thing is to re-post that same video with the new caption.
- Click on the “+” sign again down the screen
- Tap the “Upload” on the right-hand side of the screen.

Here, all the clips you have posted will be visible.
- Now click on the video clip with the caption you desire to update.
- Click the 3 vertical dots on the right.
- Choose “Save Video.”
- Wait a while for the video to be saved on your device.
- The next thing is to re-post
- Hold on for it to be saved on your phone.
Now, you will re-post the exact same clip with the new caption:
- Tap on the + symbol located way down on the screen.
- Click “Upload” on the right-hand side
- You’ll be led to your lists of pictures and clips, select the video which you already saved from TikTok.
- There’s a “Next” up the screen by the right side. Click it.
- Here you can add or change stickers, effects and texts of your choice.
- Click “Next” again. It is found down the screen by the right side.
- Update the caption and change your audience.
- Click on “Post” and your new video will be seen on your time .
Then you’ll have to delete the original video.
- Go to the homepage of the app.
- Click on “Me” which the down the screen at the right.
- Select the original video
- Select the three vertical lines option on the right of the clip.
- Swipe to the right and tap “delete”.
- Confirm it and it is done.
