The impact of post COVID-19 lockdown extends beyond financial vulnerabilities. For me, the mental and physical toll of lockdown started to take its course after the first month of quarantine. As the academic institutions are nowhere near to resume education, it may just be the perfect opportunity for students to dive deep into the realm of piano lessons with available options, either with an app or physical lesson.
And don’t do it just because most celebrities are doing it. Instead, think of the experience you can accumulate by learning to play a musical instrument that every musician respects. Just like others, my experience of learning to play piano started with some speed bumps.
Individual Experience of Learning to Play Piano With an App
Finally, it dawned on me that I don’t have to wait for the things to go back to normal and have face-to-face learning lessons from a professional pianist. Fortunately, I stumbled upon the Skoove app to guide me through the basics of learning to play the piano.
Surprisingly, I managed to learn essential hand techniques and even played some classical tunes. And I cannot still get over how stress-free I felt afterward. It’s the feeling I want to chase every single day of my life.In simple terms, it represents a balance of mental calmness that people remember from their childhood. In essence, you forget about the burden of financial and social responsibilities while playing the piano.
What Makes a Piano Learning App Unique
As a new piano instrumentalist, it is incredible just to sit and play your favorite music and escape the world’s horror. I am aware that it is a privilege to do something that transports you to another place. Nonetheless, it feels as if you have removed yourself from everything terrible happing in the world.
My practice routine starts in the early morning. However, post-lunchtime is also a perfect time to practice on the piano. I may not be a piano schoolteacher but walking around in an indoor space allows me to get new composition ideas. I wonder if that’s how professional composers compose new pieces on the piano. I’ve started to practice bits and pieces of Beethoven’s “Moonlight” Sonata, and I intend to master it.
